Euronetsuke is going to utilise this group as the official Facebook outlet of the European Chapter of the International Netsuke Society.
The aim of this group is not to overlap or compete with other existing groups of the netsuke community. In particular, this group is not meant to showcase, ask for information about, or sell individual pieces in your collection. Apart from informing the wider community about the activities of Euronetsuke, we hope to foster general discussions on netsuke-related topics such as, e.g., schools, artists, styles, themes, materials, fakery, museum collections, exhibitions, books, the state of the market, and so on. We also aim to provide a space where Euronetsuke subscribers can discuss the articles published in our journals.
All group members, whether Euronetsuke subscribers or not, are encouraged to post in the group page and comment under the posts. However, posts will be moderated. We kindly ask you to try to adhere to the group’s aims as stated above, and be patient if your post is not immediately published. Pictures of individual pieces in your collection are welcome if they are meant to illustrate the wider topics you want to discuss. Comments under the posts will not be moderated, as long as they adhere to basic civility rules.
